• raise awareness among ELT professionals of how ICTs can assist and transform language learning and teaching;
• expose members to good practice and latest developments of ICT in the area;
• facilitate communication and exchange between tutors, mentors and newbies within and outside the SIG;
• network with other international associations, disseminate and provide opportunities for professional development;
• support other BRAZTESOL Chapters and Special Interest Groups (SIGs) by providing information and advice on the use of technology for language learning, training and education.
